What are the delivery costs at Chesterfield.com? Discover the difference.

Are there delivery costs with your order... Always good to check this beforehand. One supplier charges full delivery costs, another offers free delivery, but does set a minimum purchase of for example € 700. If you are below this, you still pay the full price for delivery. Delivery costs can add up quickly. In the furniture industry you can think of amounts around € 85 - € 100 per delivery. Chesterfield.com is a customer-friendly exception to this. We do not charge delivery costs within Europe!

When you order at Chesterfield.com your Chesterfield furniture(s) online or in one of our stores/showrooms/experience centers, there are no surprises of unexpected delivery costs for you. Our rules about this are transparent and clear. Read on below.

# Within Europe no delivery costs
Chesterfield.com does not charge delivery costs within Europe. Not even for back orders or partial deliveries. That's a bonus. Moreover, we do not have a minimum order amount to qualify for free delivery costs. Other sellers often do this.

# Exceptional cases
Delivery to islands or other difficult to reach places are excluded from free delivery. We have to take extra measures for these situations for transport. The costs incurred for this will be discussed with you in advance. These are different per order and dependent on the specific delivery conditions. Agreements made are always included in the order confirmation, so that there can be no problems afterwards.

# Outside Europe
For deliveries outside Europe we also have to charge delivery costs. These costs are also different per order and transporter-dependent. The costs will be discussed with you in advance and mentioned on the order confirmation.

# Transport with own drivers or with third party transport
Our furniture is carefully packed and transported from the factory. Chesterfield.com usually delivers your order with its own drivers. Sometimes we make use of specialized third party transport. In all cases we will contact you a few days in advance to coordinate date and time of delivery. We deliver from the street to the first door. Usually this is the front door on the street side, but in the case of an apartment, for example, it is the door of the entrance of the apartment building. In consultation we can also place the furniture inside.

# Feedback
We do everything we can to ensure that the order and delivery are in order and to everyone's satisfaction. Our drivers will ask you to fill out a short checklist with 4 questions when delivering. Answering is not compulsory, but we appreciate to recieve your feedback very much.
